The Dover Demon, was seen during the year 1977, in Dover, Massachusetts - USA. This creature was reported as being 3 - 4 feet tall, and having a large hairless head, shaped like a watermelon. It had two large eyes that glowed a bright orange and green. It’s body color was flesh-tone or more pinkish, it had long thin arms and legs, with large feet and hands. The strangest thing about the creatures features is, it has no signs of a nose or mouth.
This creature was sighted by some very credible witnesses whom all saw it close up, and it had very different colored eyes each encounter, and as some other creatures, it’s eyes didn’t just reflect light, they glowed brightly like lights. One time it’s eyes glowed reddish-orange, the other time a bright green. The creature seemed to move and act like a small human male or child would as far as walking, climbing, etc. When a witness started moving towards it, the creature ran into a nearby woods at a speed faster than a human could.
The spiritual or supernatural aspects may be the creatures ability to change the colors of it eyes, if that is not something supernatural, certainly the lack of a mouth, nose and ears is. There is no way any physical creature could live with no means to eat or breath, which it could not do, since it had no mouth or nose.
As in the case of bigfoot, where native Americans (Indians), seem to know more about the creature than white men do, the same may be about ‘ The Dover Demon ‘, for centuries the Cree Indians talked about a race of creatures called: ‘ Mannegishi ‘, the Mannegishi are creatures that live in water or near it, they often climb about on rocks and ledges, and like to tip over canoes and small boats, drowning the person. The Cree Indians describe the mannegishi as semi-humanoid, with very thin and lanky arms and legs and big heads minus a nose and mouth, exactly like the ‘ Dover Demon ‘. And listen to this very important note about the creatures from the Cree Indians: The Mannegishi do not have gills or lungs, but take oxygen directly from the air or water around them through their skin. The Cree Indians also say the Mannegishi communicate by telepathy.

The evidence of creatures whose existence is uncertain is studied by cryptozoology, a science researching presumable proof of animals considered extinct or out of this world, which are still occasionally reported as seen in diverse locations. Such hypothetical creatures are usually referred as “cryptids”, a term coined by John Wall in 1983, while cryptozoology is a term attributed to the Scottish adventurer and explorer Ivan T. Sanderson, the Father of cryptozoology is regarded as Bernard Heuvelmans, who published a book using this term for the fist time in 1955. Bernard Heuvelmans believed that cryptozoology would be undertaken with scientific rigor, but keeping an open-mind to find the grains of truth behind fantastic elements in folk tales depicting fantastic unseen creatures, and that folklore and traditions are the best sources to approach these myths.
William J. Broad wrote in the New York Times, “Monster lovers take heart. Scientists argue that so much of the planet remains unexplored that new surprises are sure to show up; if not legendary beasts like the Loch Ness monster or the dinosaur-like reptile ‘Champ’ said to inhabit Lake Champlain, then animals that in their own way may be even stranger. Cryptozoologists try to unveil the mystery behind hidden creatures which all of us have heard about, but just a few have been seen very briefly that it is impossible to determine where the truth ends, but usually is where the myth begins.
The Loch Ness monster (Nessie), Mothman, the Abominable Snowman, and Chupacabras, are just a few of those creatures whose existence is not clear, and there is not enough proof whether to confirm or deny the legitimacy of reports made by witnesses who have seen them. Skepticism is prevalent among scientists, despite the fact that many cryptozoologists are also respected scientists in other fields, who have found vestiges of previously unknown animals, but still cannot find the missing proof of creatures seen during the last two centuries.
Anyway, notable cryptozoologists have contributed actively with their research, including Bigfoot researchers Erik Beckjord, Peter Byrne, René Dahinden, Paul Freeman, Cliff Crook and John Green. Loch Ness Monster researchers Tim Dinsdale, Fredrick William Holiday, Roy Mackal, and Peter Scott, and Cadborosaurus researcher Paul LeBlond, Chupacabra researcher Scott Corrales, Mothman researcher John Keel, Champ researcher Joseph W. Zarzynski, Jonathan Downes, founder of Centre for Fortean Zoology, and John Kirk, president of the British Columbia Scientific Cryptozoology Club, among many other scientists and researchers.
Cryptozoologists have found over a hundred creatures, whose existence is not confirmed, including the Winnipogo, Yeti, Kongamato, Igopogo, Globsters, Congo Peacock, Abogwe, Giant Anaconda, Minnesota Iceman, Mokele-mbembe, besides the widespread creatures mentioned above. In addition, researches have found dozen of different lake monsters, the Mountain Gorilla, Discovered in October 1902 by Belgian Army, the Kouprey and the Komodo Dragon discovered in 1937 and 1912 respectively, and the unbelievable Goblin universe.

Exorcism Or Spirit Releasement
By Dorothy M. Neddermeyer, PhD
Has anyone said to you, “You are possessed by the devil.” “Are you possessed?” “What is wrong with you?” Or you might say to yourself:
• “I am not feeling like myself lately.”
• “I seem like a different person these days.”
• “Something has come over me.”
• “I seem to tire easily, but the doctor says there is nothing wrong.”
If one of these statements ring true—with you or anyone you know—there is a strong possibility that a spirit attachment could be involved. Spirit Releasement or Depossession may be advisable.
What is a Spirit attachment?
Simply put a Spirit Attachment, (a.k.a. Entity Attachment or Possession) is the invasion of one’s body by a discarnate being, or an entity, or by negative energies.
What Are the Signs of a Spirit Attachment?
Entities and negative energies can have varying degrees of influence over the person whose body they are residing in—ranging from a mild energy drain to almost total possession (which is extremely rare). Signs include, but are not limited to:
• Hearing voices
• Sudden cravings for alcohol, cigarettes, drugs, certain foods etc.—especially after surgery or a traumatic event—childhood or adult
• Sudden weight gain—especially after surgery or a traumatic event
• Fears and phobias
• Deep sadness for no apparent reason
• Sudden changes in behavior—heightened or intense anger, depression and thoughts of suicide
• Serious illness of unknown cause
• Loss of energy
• Inability to keep one’s life working well—many peaks and valleys
• Sudden mood swings for no apparent reason
• Memory and concentration problems—diagnosed as ADD, ADHD
• Unexplained physical problems—pain from an undetermined cause, lupus, fibromyalgia, MS, TMJ
• Migraine headaches
• Night terrors and nightmares
• Panic/anxiety attacks
• Multiple personality type behavior
What Is Spirit Releasement?
Spirit Releasement, (remote depossession), is the process used to release entities from living people. The term ‘remote’ means that the work can be done from a distance. This is possible because the work is done in the higher consciousness. Releasement can also be done directly with the person wishing the procedure. Remote spirit releasement can be done without the conscious knowledge of the person on whom the work is done, but permission is requested from that person’s higher self before the procedure is undertaken.
Who Is Qualified to do Spirit Releasement?
A hypnosis practitioner, who is a Certified Regression practitioner and trained in this procedure and who has knowledge of metaphysics, spirituality, and parapsychology is the only qualified professional to perform a Spirit Releasement.
A Releasement session can be done in 1 ½ hours or as long as 3 – 4 hours—depending on the complexity. Sometimes more than one session is required if there are several attachments, albeit more than one attachment can be released in one session.
How Does Spirit Releasement Compare with Exorcism?
Spirit Releasement is diametrically different from an exorcism. Exorcism, usually performed by a Priest or clergy, is a procedure to cast out demons—using Biblical references and doctrines. Frequently, the person who has the attachment is commanded by the facilitator to confess his/her sins for their demon like behavior. The process is emotionally and physically exhausting—sometimes with lasting guilt, shame, and humiliation associated with the experience. The movie, The Exorcist, based on a true story, is a somewhat exaggerated version of an exorcism.
In a Spirit Releasement process, the hypnosis practitioner accesses the entity through the hypnotized host person. The attached entity uses the host person’s voice, allowing the practitioner to talk to the “attached entity,” thus, helping them to understand their darkness and release them to go to their proper place in the Light only after they have agreed to go. This prevents the entity from returning to the host or to anyone else. The person leaves the session feeling relaxed and relieved as the weight of the entity has been removed.
In cases of an earthbound spirit entity that is not attached, but is around the person, the entity is simply made aware of its situation and lovingly guided into the Light, usually into the care of a loved one who comes to help in the transition.
Curses and negative energies are removed by severing connections and transforming the energies from negative to positive.

Memoirs Of An Exorcist by David Devereux
By Frances Lynn
Memoirs Of An Exorcist reads like the day of a life of an exorcist; not surprising, as it’s first time author, David Devereux started studying magic when he was a teenager and has been a professional exorcist for twenty years.
He writes in such a humorous and down to earth way about his first hand experiences of exorcising homes, pubs and offices that he comes across as totally convincing.
‘Exorcism is an extremely specialised task that calls for a great deal of training, a very particular skill set, a confidence in one’s abilities that borders on arrogance and a team of people who work well together under pressure. It’s really not something to try if you have any choice in the matter.’
The most interesting thing about Memoirs is how Devereux describes his extraordinary job of an Exorcist as perfectly normal. He candidly describes the hair-raising jobs which Athanor Consulting, a ‘ghost busting’ company, which he co-founded are hired to do. His clients aren’t esoteric weirdoes but are professional people who need their homes cleansed or pubs and businesses cleaned of malign paranormal influences.
Scientists, sceptics and disbelievers in magic of any kind will probably dismiss David’s autobiographical account of an exorcist as pure fantasy. But, it doesn’t matter if the reader is a cynic or a fervent believe in psychic entities of the malevolent kind. Memoirs Of An Exorcist is a highly entertaining book, whatever way you wish to view it.
David Devereux makes a living from exorcism and in his book, never escapes into fantasy. The matter of fact way he recalls his out of this world experiences is normal to him. To him and his grateful clients, his job is necessary and normal, rather like the role of a plumber. And I should know.
Devereux came to do some ‘Spot Cleaning’ (chapter seven) in my office when weird things suddenly started to happen to my electronics one Christmas. I’m pretty cynical, and didn’t believe in stuff like curses or exorcism before he came round to cleanse my room. But, I quickly changed my mind after his extraordinary session, which I can only describe as ‘magical’.
‘Once a tulpa’ (the word comes from Tibetan and means thought-forms), ‘has been identified as the cause of a problem, the task is to catch or corner it, and then eliminate it. Since these are artificially created entities, there is nowhere to which they can be returned and so they must be destroyed. This process generally involves draining them of energy to a point where they can no longer hold themselves together and then hitting them with a concentrated blast of energy to effectively blow them apart.’
A fascinating read, especially if the reader like David, believes that ‘the universe in which we live is wild and mad and scary,’ and know that exorcism is the only solution for ’strange noises in the night and things that move by themselves.’

An Inconvenient Spirit - Selling Your Haunted House
By Virginia Z Wherland
Selling a haunted house is a difficult proposition if the ghosts are particularly noisy or violent. Many home buyers eschew atmosphere for the dull life of the bright house or bungalow untenanted by a disturbed spirit. Therefore, fixing up your house to sell may involve various preparations to reduce the impact of ghosts, spirits, otherworldly emanations and other supernatural phenomena.
Exorcism is one method of ridding oneself of a nuisance supernatural presence. However, it could be seen as discrimination and “supernaturalism”, which could lead to the ghost’s right to seek legal redress. Be aware that through adverse possession processes, the spirit may actually have legal rights to the house and mediation (as well as a medium) may be in order to resolve the conflict.
One must be sensitive to the fact that many ghosts come from diverse religious belief systems that would make using a priest from a Christian background extremely offensive. More importantly, it may not work if there is a lack of belief. In the case of an atheist ghost, you may have to resort to a copy of “The Origin of Species” to help form your exorcism rite.
Do not despair if exorcism does not work or, in the interests of equality, is not an option. There are other routes for the home seller with an inconvenient spirit. Many spirits are open to communication, but steps may have to be made to accommodate them. Rapping on the walls, table or doors may be the only mode of communication a spirit has and it is imperative to take all necessary steps to aid the corporeally-challenged in their quest for equal access to communication. It may help to engage the services of someone versed in Morse Code, as “yes” and “no” may not be precise enough to convey the particulars of a ghost’s concerns.
Try to have a seance with the ghost and attempt to impress upon it the importance of not creating an uncomfortable atmosphere until the sale is concluded. Mention the fact that if the house is not sold quickly, a reputation very quickly develops that makes it difficult to find buyers, not to mentioned the easily possessed or precocious children. If you can, have a copy of current real estate laws and related information for the specter to peruse; ensure that it knows that “pre-approved” does not mean “sold” and that it is wise to refrain from frightening new owners until it is certain that the house is transferred fully into their possession.
If the spirit is resistant to all forms of communication and/or exorcism, extreme steps must be taken. If the house is exceptionally well-appointed and in a smallish community with low crime called “Sunnyvale” or “Friendlyville”, there will usually be no problem finding a couple from the big city seeking a nice house in the suburbs or a bedroom community for their children and dog. The only problem with this strategy is that you will probably have to lower the price to some ridiculously low amount that would make any other home buyer suspicious. Don’t worry. The family from the city probably won’t even have a home inspection done.

Haunted Houses
By Holly Matheson
Haunted houses refer to locations that are inhabited by the spirits of deceased beings who were familiar with the property, or perhaps even lived there. Supernatural activity within homes is typically associated with tragic or violent events that occurred such as murder, suicide, or another death.
Entities that are said to haunt homes (or any other buildings) are known to make noises, materialize as apparitions, and have the ability to move or hurl tangible objects. Such behavior can be categorized as “poltergeist activity,” poltergeist meaning a spirit that makes its presence known by noise. An exorcism (a religious or solemn ceremony used to expel an evil spirit) has traditionally been the technique used to rid unwelcome and unwanted spirits from a property or even a person’s body.
Haunted houses have long been a part of American culture and appear in literature quite often. Haunting is used as a plot device most often in gothic and horror fiction and more recently in the 20th century, fiction based on the paranormal and alien themes. Writing even as early as during the Roman-era, by authors such as Lucian and Plautus, contains stories about haunted houses and buildings.
Today, haunted houses are used as a form of entertainment during the fall around the time of the Halloween holiday. They are popular in older towns and areas that were settled and inhabited in the previous centuries. New England has a number of popular haunted houses popular given its rich history dating back to the 17th century. Western towns are popular as well; there are a number of Denver haunted houses and other mining and ghost towns that attract hundreds of visitors.
A popular ride (and now movie) at the Disney Theme Parks, is the Haunted Mansion, which references much of the iconography of American haunted houses.
