The new hobby of Paranormal investigating or Ghost hunting is slowly becoming a very popular hobby these days. All the new and interesting shows such as Ghost Hunters, Paranormal State, Ghost Adventurers, America’s Most Haunted, A Haunting, and Destination Truth have suddenly changed the face of ghost hunting and Paranormal investigating. Now with all the new hype there are new groups of people from all walks of life wanting to know How to become a Paranormal Investigator?

Paranormal Investigating can be excited and scary at the same time. It takes a certain type of person to search for paranormal activity and if you really think about it, searching for ghosts or other paranormal activity is quite frankly, a pretty scary situation, which is why a Paranormal investigator must have a strong mental attitude, and be ready to not panic in stressful or dangerous situations.

This is how you become a Paranormal Investigator:

The first step you must take is to really spend some time thinking. Start by asking yourself questions.

Do I really want to look for Ghosts?

What will I do if I have a hostile Ghost in my presence?

Can I perform under stressful situations?

Will put forth the effort to gain the knowledge to do investigations properly and keep myself and my group safe during investigations?

This process is meant for you to really decide if you want to pursue the Paranormal Investigation Field. Ghost Hunting or Paranormal Investigating is not suggest for children or people who are not strong mentally. If you panic easily, the best option for you is to probably stay away from investigating the paranormal. But if you still want to pursue the Paranormal Investigating occupation, then you be able to fill other needs for groups such as case workers, interviewers, and equipment managers. This will at least get you a position on a team.

Now that you know that you have what it takes to become a Paranormal Investigator or a Ghost Hunter, the decision has to be made:

Do you want to start by joining a already existing Paranormal Investigation team?

Or Do you want to Start Your Own?

I would suggest you find a group near you and ask to join the team or at least ask them if you could join them for a investigation. This is recommended for those who have never done any ghost hunting or paranormal investigating before. You will learn some techniques and actually see how a proper investigation is played out.

Joining a near by group may not be possible for everyone. Sometimes groups are locked and filled, and some simply don’t want any outsiders to join them, but you will find that most groups will allow you to tag along if you ask them.

If you can’t find a group near you. Then it will be up to you to start one. (I would not suggest doing any investigation alone, specially in hot spots.) You can start by asking a friend or family member. If all else fails, put up posters or ads, with all the new found hype, someone will be willing to join your team.

Once you have found your group members. You will need some equipment to at least get you started. The basic equipment any ghost hunter or paranormal investigator will need is a camera and a digital recorder. If you have at least those two types of equipment, then you have enough to do a proper investigation. Another tool I would suggest that is pretty cheap is dowsing rods. Prices vary anywhere between 3 dollars to as high as twenty dollars for a pair. A good tool for those that don’t have sensing equipment.

Now that you have your group and your basic equipment, start by doing a few daytime ghost hunts at a local cemetery.

(Yes Ghost Hunting in the Day is still Ghost hunting. Ghosts are there whether it is night or day.)

Keep doing it until you become comfortable with using equipment and how your group will act during investigating. Each member knowing exactly what they are suppose to do during investigations saves time, and makes investigating a lot easier.

Once you are confident on your investigating skills, start advertising by banners and business cards, and don’t forget online advertising. Sooner or later you will get a call for a Private Paranormal investigation.

As a true paranormal investigator you must continue your learning and research all the elements of Paranormal activity. If you have knowledge on what types of entities you may be dealing with, you will then have the knowledge to gather evidence at a higher rate.

You only gain the true experience by actually doing the investigations. Hands on experience and Research is how to become a paranormal investigator.

Tiwanaku Alien and Evolution

It was mentioned on a biology blog that archaeological engravings from the Tiwanaku civilization in Bolivia are unlikely to be depicting an ancient astronaut for the reason that, even with an aquatic tail, the creature still looks too much like a human. The underlying argument was that the evolution of life forms is so diverse that it is highly unlikely an alien would come out looking even remotely like us. In essence, this is the opposite side of the pendulum to Hollywood’s consistent imaging of aliens as humanoids.

The biologist ignored the decorative and symbolic imagery added by the Tiwanaku artists and did not consider the given premise of an aquatic alien inside helmeted spacesuit. I have to assume, therefore, the biologist noted that the creature had two arms and two eyes, and since humans have two arms and two eyes, the biologist concluded that this cannot be an alien.

What should intelligent aliens look like? Or, to phrase it another way, what should we expect interstellar travelers who come here to look like? This is not a complete unknown. If the aliens are capable of interstellar travel, they obviously achieved higher technology. What is necessary to achieve technology? My opinion on this is that to achieve technology, a life form would need a complex brain and the ability to see and manipulate objects. This implies eyes, fingered appendages, and perhaps a head relatively large compared to overall body size. The Tiwanaku alien has all these features.

The biologist might counter that the issue is not that aliens have eyes, but the number of eyes. Here on Earth, higher animal forms evolved with two eyes. For example, mammals, birds, fish, reptiles, and insects all have two eyes, but on another planet the number of eyes would be different. There, perhaps, the life forms would randomly have one, three, four, or even ten eyes. Is that true? Is the number of eyes a random event in the evolutionary process?

Astronomers searching for extraterrestrial intelligence are looking for planets similar to Earth regarding temperature and chemical composition because they know life evolved here, so it is logical to assume that life might also evolve on other similar planets. Likewise, with similar planetary history, we might expect the evolutionary process on those other planets to progress similarly to how it progressed here.

Question: Was the evolution of animal life with two eyes on Earth a random event, so much so that we should expect extraterrestrial life to have a different number of eyes? I think not. Why? It is called natural selection or survival of the fittest. Two eyes are the minimum required to give depth perception and concentrated focus. Perhaps early on Earth there were animals with five or ten eyes, but with a brain too small to orientate five directions, such species quickly became extinct. Only two eyes survived. Should we expect something radically different on another Earth-like planet? No. It is reasonable to expect intelligent aliens to have two eyes, just like humans.

It is also reasonable to expect alien life forms to be imaginable from the diversity of life forms we see on Earth, past and present. The Tiwanaku alien has features similar to a fish (fish mouth that seems to be breathing inside a water-filled helmet), features similar to a lobster (sea creature with two forward appendages for manipulating objects), and features similar to humans (large head and fingered upper appendages). Only four fingers are depicted in the Tiwanaku drawings, versus our five, but this easily falls within evolutionary feasibility. The alien’s three-pod aquatic tail is also an imaginable evolutionary development.

I think the biologist’s appreciation for the potentially enormous diversity of life forms in the universe is admirable. For those life forms that develop higher technology, however, it is likely, not unlikely, that they will have something in common with humans.

Real Haunted Places

Fear for the unknown and the eagerness in human beings to confront supernatural powers has created a huge segment of people all over the world in search of real haunted places. It is said that people in search of ghostly adventures get a high when they visit real haunted places and haunted houses.

But why does man want to visit real haunted places for instance a haunted house, which is assumed to be haven for supernatural happenings or paranormal phenomena? You may come to close confrontation with ghosts, poltergeists, or even malevolent entities if you visit or come across these real haunted places. I believe it is the adventure and the thrill of experiencing fear that drives people to these haunted places.

Real haunted places are believed to be occupied by the spirits of the dead, who may have been past inhabitants or were familiar with the now haunted place. It is said that paranormal happenings inside such real haunted places is primarily associated with any violent or tragic events that might have occurred in the inmates of the building. It may be related to any murder, accidental death, or suicide either in recent times of sometime long ago.

It is believed almost cutting across any religion and faith that the souls of those who die traumatic deaths do not rest in peace and are trapped inside the property. These entities are believed to haunt houses; and if you dare to visit these real haunted places, you can hear noises, see the spirits appear as ghost, and move or launch physical objects.

There has also been a strange co-relation found between real haunted places and carbon monoxide. Carbon monoxide is found to be the leading cause of accidental poisoning deaths in North America. And, symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning include listlessness, depression, dementia, emotional disturbances, and hallucinations.

Investigations show that there have been a number of cases when the inmates of a haunted house may experience strange visions and sounds, feelings of dread, illness, and the sudden, apparently mysterious death of all the occupants. This can be attributed to carbon monoxide poisoning and experts opine that carbon monoxide poisoning should be promptly investigated as a possible cause for haunting.

There are many people who would like to experience the thrill of being in real haunted places. I have known people who plan these ghostly trips. But people with weak hearts beware. Do not get carried away with the challenge of a friend to accompany him, if you are suffering from any heart ailments. I’m sure you would not want a DARE at the cost of your life.

In Isaac Newton’s view space was absolute, and held that it exists permanently and independently of whether there is any matter in the space or moving through it.

Space exploration is the use of astronomy and space technology to explore outer space. Physical exploration of space is conducted both by human spaceflights and by robotic spacecraft. Space exploration has often been used as a proxy competition for geopolitical rivalries such as the Cold War.

The first human spaceflight was Vostok 1 (East 1), carrying 27 year old cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin on April 12, 1961. The spacecraft completed one orbit around the globe, lasting about 1 hour and 48 minutes. Gagarin’s flight resonated around the world; it was a demonstration of the advanced Soviet space program and it opened an entirely new era in space exploration — human spaceflight.

Space Shuttle Discovery (Orbiter Vehicle Designation: OV-103) is one of the three currently operational orbiters in the Space Shuttle fleet of NASA, the space agency of the United States. (The other two are Atlantis and Endeavour.) When first flown in 1984, Discovery became the third operational orbiter, and is now the oldest orbiter in service. Discovery has performed both research and International Space Station (ISS) assembly missions.

Space technology is technology that is related to entering space, maintaining and using systems during spaceflight and returning people and things from space.

Space technology has a huge impact on the everyday lives of people; and something as simple as checking the weather or watching satellite television or receiving a parcel guided by satellite, it touches most people’s lives on any given day.

Who wants to go ghost hunting? Investigating ghosts, or a more popular term, ghost hunting, is gaining in popularity as more and more television shows on the subject surface each season. With that in mind I’ll ask it another way. Do you want to go ghost hunting?

There are many reasons why one would consider the possible exploration of the paranormal. Maybe you want to explore the possibilities of life after death. Perhaps you just want to experience the thrill of a paranormal encounter. What ever the reason one thing is for certain. Ghost hunting can make your hair stand on end!

We’ve all heard tales of how certain buildings and houses are haunted. I would venture that there are several in your own town that carry such a legend. Are you brave enough to find out for yourself?

If you are up to the challenge of investigating the ghost’s hangouts in your area here are some do’s and dont’s.

First some do’s. Do get permission from the so called haunted property’s owner before beginning your ghost hunt. Tell the owner precisely what your intentions are. Give as many details as possible. Tell them the date and time you intend to do your investigation. Get permission to take photographs and offer to share any information you obtain.

Also, make sure you have flashlights with extra batteries, a good digital camera and, if possible, a map or outline of the house or building you are going to investigate. If the haunted house is vacant there won’t be any electricity and the map will help you find your way around.

Don’t rearrange anything you may find inside the property. If you want to get other owners to give you permission for future ghost hunting you will want a good recommendation from previous owners.

Most importantly, don’t hunt alone! This is not because of the fear factor. You will want witnesses to any thing supernatural or paranormal. When more than one person can tell the exact same story it tends to have added credibility.

Now, let us see how far science helps us to create an opinion. Science owns two basics: theory and experiment. To know and interpret a phenomenon, a scientist should involve the theory in his mind. Then, based on the theory, he does experiments in his laboratory. If the experiment clarifies or approves his theory, then, every one can accept his theory as scientific principal. It is going to be valid principal until a new theory comes. When a more comprehensive theory appears, the old theory becomes invalid theory.

Through the experiments, science finds the cause and result. Next, science finds the next cause from the previous cause: the next result from the previous result. This process goes as long as possible. Science projects bring a lot of advantages and disadvantages. The practice experiment is the basic of the science. Special character of an invention is the biggest advantage of science.

Humans can get a lot of information from the science. It gives knowledge about a leaf. Science can introduce us about certain theory that arranges something. By the science, human can control or explore something. Finally, science can improve the technology and industry.

Although science can give thousand things to human, but knowledge of the science owns special characteristic. Therefore, the area of the knowledge is restricted. The experiment restricts it. It is obvious that the science cannot create the experiment for the entire universe and its aspects. The science only can know the cause and result in a certain level. This level contains experiment and research. Next, the scientists enter acceptable level. Science only illuminates certain area, as if the searcher-light. Beyond that area, the science cannot do it. Some problems sometimes cannot get an experiment to approve it. The problem’s examples: does this universe own the beginning and the ending? Do both sides of this universe own the border?
